Today I want to offer an outline of a worldwide program we have in the works to support websites and other content creators in the community. We appreciate that you go beyond playing the game and actually act as a conduit for information and help create a home for your particular audience—competitive, casual, local language, whatever you do, thank you.

First off, you’ll be able to identify yourself as a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game affiliate by displaying a graphic badge on your website. You’re in the club! Whooo! You’ll receive exclusive card previews corresponding to new releases and access to high res art assets to make your site look sweet. We’ll also supply jpegs of cards so you won’t spend hours scanning them with some handheld pull scanner from 1992.

Each month you’ll receive lapsed WoWTCG.com writer promos to help compensate your content generators. At times over the year, you’ll receive product to thank you for your time and energy. We’ll also feature direct links to the best content on this Community blog, directing traffic to your site.

We’re going to ask some pretty simple, common sense things of our affiliate partners like not advertising competing products or hosting "gold-selling" ads. We’ll ask that you update regularly with high-quality content and generally maintain your site. Also, the “don’t be a jerk” rule applies in that we’re probably not going to support your site www.ihatewowtcg.com. Positive, constructed criticism on your site is, of course, welcome.

So that’s the general outline of the deal, and you should expect this rollout before Darkmoon Faire Chicago in April. We'll announce it on the main page when it's done, so keep a look out for that.
