So here’s a preview of the Honor Calculator. It’s using live data, but we’re still doing some testing so it’s possible you might find some rough edges here and there. If you have any suggestions let us know in the forums or click the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the page.

One thing we discovered immediately when we starting loading the tool with live data was that judges were getting too much honor from big events like Darkmoon Faires. We’ll be making a few tweaks to our policies for entering judges into tournaments. We’re also working towards a more fair balance rather than all the judging staff being listed in every tournament for the whole weekend.

It’s not that we don’t care about judges – I got started in the industry as a judge, so I’m pretty consistently making sure we do right for the hardworking men and women that spend all weekend on their feet. But the current numbers aren’t quite what we want them to be.
