Welcome back heroes and allies for a brief update from last weekend's Goblins of Anarchy Showdown event.

The Goblins of Anarchy are ready to roll out!

Last weekend players around the globe met at hobby stores in their local areas to participate in the Championship event wrapping up the Draft Rally season; the Goblins of Anarchy Showdown! Players earned gold bordered Goblin Biker cards from participating in Draft Rally events at hobby stores over the last three months. This Core Format event is the only of its kind, and it allowed players to use these gold bordered cards in deck construction before showing up to compete for playmats, Loot cards, and Foil Thrall, Warchief of the Horde cards.

Over 500 players from around the world came together over the weekend of November 5^th and 6^th (and even more players in Europe during their Goblins of Anarchy side events during their Nationals in October) to see how powerful the biker’s Time is Money keyword could really be. There was, however, some number of players that showed up to their local Showdown event without any Goblin Bikers in their Core deck, just to have a chance at the Loot cards up for grabs.

Players have been protective of their Core Format decklists prior to the 2011 World Championship this weekend in Rotterdam, and this weekend was no exception. While “Grand Crusader” was mentioned in many a forum and facebook post this weekend, will Paladin make as big of a showing this weekend as it did at Showdown tournaments? Stay tuned and find out!
