Aftermath: Crown of the Heavens is almost upon us, heroes and allies! The preview articles for this new expansion have been rolling out every day on our main page for the last few weeks, and this weekend there are a number of Sneak Preview locations being run around the world by the Cryptozoic Team. These Cryptozoic run World of Warcraft Trading Card Game Sneaks are a great opportunity for players to get a first peek at Crown of the Heavens before anyone else, to hang out with other World of Warcraft TCG fans. It’s also a unique opportunity where our fans are able to chat with the Cryptozoic Reps who are most local to them.

These Sneak Previews will be the first opportunity our fans have to acquire new Loot Cards, such as the Corrupted Hippogryph mount, Ogre Mage Costume item, and Gregarious Grell pet. These Loot card items are already live inside the World of Warcraft online game, and Landro Longshot is patiently waiting for the first Crown of the Heavens to be redeemed in Booty Bay.

These Sneak Previews are a Sealed Pack Format event. Players are given 6 Crown of the Heavens booster packs to build a deck with, or 12 Crown of the Heavens booster packs in the case of the Darkmoon Faire Los Angeles Team Format Sneak. One of the design directions for the Aftermath block was to make it friendlier for Draft and Sealed play. One way we do this is by having the same Alliance and Horde heroes in every expansion, and allowing all of the Aftermath block heroes to see play in these limited formats, even if players don’t open them out of their booster packs. This makes it easier for players to learn the heroes that are available for play in the current block, and build a deck appropriately for the faction and class they want to play.

The product has arrived properly so we can support our fans that are joining us at Los Angeles, CA; Berlin, Germany; and Guangzhou, China for this event.
