As most of you probably know, Darkmoon Faire Los Angeles happened last weekend. We’re grateful for all of our fans that took the time to travel and spend the weekend with the Cryptozoic Team. A few highlights from the weekend include:

212 players participated in the CZE League over the course of the weekend. Players picked up a playmat and a deckbox for just signing up, and won additional prizes for every game they played.

Teams of 3 players registered to participate the Crown of the Heavens Sneak Preview. 180 Players (60 teams) played in this team event on Friday.

193 players participated in the Darkmoon Faire main event on Saturday. This event was Core Format, and these players participated in 11 rounds of Swiss play, with the Top 16 players advancing to the finals on Sunday.

Vanessa VanCleef made her first 2012 appearance. 60 players challenged Vanessa VanCleef over the course of this 3-day event. Only 4 were victorious.

We recognized Cryptozoic Entertainment’s Champion of the Year for 2011, Julia Smith. She’s pretty awesome.
