Want to jump right into the game? Pick up a Class Starter Deck and immediately begin play, even with no previous experience! This Summer, we're updating the Class Starter Decks for 2011. You'll be able to go to your local hobby store and pick up any one of the ten World of Warcraft® classes.
The ten will be evenly split between Horde and Alliance. That means there's no more guessing which Class Starter Decks will be in a retailer's box. Online players will recognize much from World of Warcraft® Cataclysm™; you'll group with Goblin and Worgen allies from both Worldbreaker and War of the Elements. The decks will feature exclusive heroes as well, some Goblin and Worgen for you fans out there. You won't find these heroes anywhere else. For the first time ever, we're including talent cards like Holy Shock and Gift of the Earthmother in their respective Class Starter Decks as well!
June 7, 2011
Alliance: Draenei Priest, Human Paladin, Gnome Mage, Worgen Hunter, Night Elf Druid
Horde: Goblin Rogue, Undead Death Knight, Orc Warrior, Blood Elf Warlock, Tauren Shaman
We're also bringing back a selection of the hottest Loot cards from the past. You'll be able to once again crack open El Pollo Grande, Owned!, and Sandbox Tiger. Available in Class Starters found exclusively hobby stores, a free pack of War of the Elements gives the player a second chance to crack Loot, including the Savage Raptor mount.
And this Fall, we're going to release the another 10 Class Starter Decks, flipping the factions. So, the Spring Druid deck will be Alliance, but the Fall one will be Horde. So, you can collect all 20 decks by the end of the year and put them to work. Take up your faction flag and favorite class. Battle anywhere you want, computer or not, with the 2011 Class Starter Decks!

Sandbox Tiger
Unlike those horrific stalwarts of playgrounds long ago, you won't catch a limb in its spring, nor will you catch tetanus. How did parents ever let their children near those things?!
-

Owned!
Player-vs-player victory dances are a long-held tradition in competitive play. You used to /spit on them-- and now you can plant your flag like a tombstone and let everyone know who ate dirt.
-

El Pollo Grande
You've killed the Lich King. Illidan fell to your blade. C'Thun can't touch you anymore. Now you ride off into the sunset-- on a giant chicken.
