Steelseries Gadgetzan Challenge

Are you trying to game with the mouse out of your computer box? Just two buttons, no scrollwheel? You can't win with that! You need what the pros use, and the pros use Steelseries gear. Take a look at the official World of Warcraft Cataclysm mouse. It’s armored like Deathwing and pulses with molten fire! The mouse features in-game setup for World of Warcraft and 14 buttons for every hotkey imaginable. Play like a professional when you win the World of Warcraft Cataclysm mouse. Costume Contest

Saturday, June 18th at 2:00 PM. Free to enter.

What would a convention be without a stage, spotlight, and costume contest? Craft a costume for fun and prizes. Entrants will be judged on their costume as well as character presentation, so start practicing those poses in your bathroom mirror.

Best Blizzard-based Costume Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, heck, even the Lost Vikings-- if you wish you could jump through your monitor and live in the lands of Blizzard Entertainment, this category is for you. This category is judged on accuracy to the game, as well as your personality. You'll win a Savage Raptor Loot card, giving your World of Warcraft® character an exclusive raptor mount.

Cutest Costume Does your costume inspire us to show our giant anime eyes and sparkle? Is there a collective "awwwwwwwwwwwww" when you hit the stage? This category is judged on the ability to make us squeal and want to pinch your cheeks. The ones on your face, silly. In this category, you'll win an 8 gig iPod Nano.

Most Creative Is your costume out of this world? Does it have that extra something, elicit something more from the audience? A re-imagining of an existing character? Have you worked in an entire ensemble cast into a single costume? Does the whole package pop? If so, you'll win a Nintendo Wii.

Best Craftsmanship You're crafty! LEDs, leatherwork, embroidery, aluminum tubes-- you do it all. If you have that eye for detail and the hands to make it work, you can win the Best Craftsmanship award. You'll win a $150 gift card to Michaels to keep your workshop full of materials.

...and that's not all! Tell them what else they've won!

To one participant chosen at random, we'll give a badge to an upcoming convention so you can share your passion for cosplay to even more people. For the Las Vegas, you'll win a badge to Anime Expo in Los Angeles, CA this July 1-4, 2011. Good luck and we'll see you there!
