Airport
The location is very close to the Airport Madrid-Barajas, the fourth biggest airport in Europe: http://www.aena-aeropuertos.es/csee/Satellite/Aeropuerto-Madrid-Barajas/en/ There is a free shuttle service from the airport to the Hotel.
Train

Tournament Information
Tournament Registration
Player registration will occur on Friday from 18:00 until 20:00 and on Saturday before the event from 9:00 until 9:45 on site.
Players that arrive after 9:45 on Saturday, but before the end of round one will be allowed to register with a first round loss.
Entry Fee
Registration fee for the Darkmoon Faire Tournament is € 15.
Format and Round Length
Saturday, May 26: Core Constructed. Single game matches, 30 minute rounds. Number of rounds will be based on attendance. The top sixteen players will advance to the single-elimination playoffs on Sunday.
Sunday, May 27 (Top 16): Core Constructed Best two out of three matches. The Round of 16 through the semifinals will be 90 minutes long. The finals will be 120 minutes long.

Participation and Prizes
Participation
Darkmoon Faire main event participants get something just for signing up and playing in the main tournament. Each competitor receives a Gnash promotional foil card and a 2012 Mage Deckbox.


Top 64
The top 64 players enrolled in the tournament after the final Swiss round will receive a Darkmoon Faire Deathwing playmat.

Top 16
The top 16 players enrolled in the tournament after the final Swiss round will receive a Gnash extended art promotional sketch card.

1st place: $1,500 Travel Voucher, 32GB iPad 2 WiFi, $200 Amazon Gift Card. Blazing Hippogryph Loot Card, Crown of Heavens Rare Loot Card. 2012 World Championship invite.

Public Events
In addition to the Darkmoon Faire there will be a number of tournaments for players of all skill levels throughout the weekend.
CZE League
League participants pay 10 € one time fee to participate in the league. Each participant receives a 2012 league Warrior deckbox, while supplies last. League players sign up for a variety of match formats and receive prizes after the match they finish (win or lose). Each league participant is automatically entered to win raffle prizes that include electronics, loot cards and other promotional items. League hours are:

Crafting Redemption
Crafting will be available at the CZE League desk. Crafting on Saturday prior to the main tournament start is limited to 4 cards per person, to ensure that all attendees have an equal chance to obtain desired cards prior to the tournament. Crafting is provided while supplies last.
Notes
Rules and Tournament Policies
Players are responsible for knowing all game rules and tournament policies. In addition, players are responsible to ensure that sleeves used at the event are opaque, as not to reveal the backs of cards during tournament play.
Conduct
The promotion of sporting conduct is a top priority for Cryptozoic Entertainment. All players are expected to behave in a sporting manner at all times before, during, and after the tournament. Proper player conduct is a top priority for Cryptozoic Entertainment.
Decklists and Other Forms
Players from the US are expected to complete and turn in the appropriate tax form before they can collect certain prizes. Decklists must be complete and accurate when they are collected: once collected, players will not be able to revise their list in any manner, any errors found will result in the appropriate tournament penalty.
Prizes and Payment Information
All players from the US who receive an electronic prize, gift card, or cash prize must fill out appropriate tax forms; Cryptozoic Entertainment reports winnings to the IRS. Prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the player, including redemption of prizes through third parties, transportation, and administrative costs associated with the prize. Cryptozoic Entertainment will award prizes based on tournament standings and will not adjust prize payouts based on negotiated prize splits.
Additional Information
Players must bring their own pens, paper, card sleeves, and appropriate counters with them to the tournament. There will be vendors in the main event hall selling accessories, product, and singles.

Set Legality
In Core Format, only sets from the last two blocks (and the boutique products associated with them) are legal. The following sets are legal for Core Format at this tournament:
