Riddle Training in The Lookouts Issue #2

By Mike Rosenberg

What a man must know, a boy must learn. And for the young Lookout Dore, he must put down his desire to fight in order to grow his mind. For when it comes to besting the sphinx, or even the simple bridge troll, a sword isn't going to cut it.

The Lookouts issue 2 is coming, with the second issue of the six-part series that deals with solving the riddle of the sphinx that is plaguing Eyrewood Forest. In this issue, the Lookouts take on the troll under the bridge. The troll, like the sphinx, loves riddles, and the scout master thinks that it is the perfect way to train the Lookouts for the sphinx's riddle. Can the Lookouts conquer the troll's challenge, or do the boys still have much more to learn before they're ready to face the enigmatic sphinx?

And what of Dore, the Lookout who thinks with his sword instead of his mind? He is the loose cannon of the group, after all, and has no patience for word games. Will he be able to overcome his frustration with riddles, and his urge to strike first and answer questions later?

In addition to continuing the story, issue 2 will also go into detail about the Sibling Lunarist honor badges. What is a Sibling Lunarist, and how do Lookouts earn these honor badges? Issue 2 will shine some moonlight on what this achievement is all about.

The second issue of The Lookouts will be available in comic stores and on comiXology in mid October. For the latest updates on The Lookouts, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
